Coronavirus (Covid-19) - Updated 16th October 2020

Here at Geoffrey Butterworth Chartered Surveyors the health and wellbeing of our clients, communities and colleagues is of great importance to us.

It is very much 'business as usual' for us and whilst our offices remain closed to visitors, we are able to continue to provide the same high level of service.

Our team will be available to provide advice and discuss ongoing jobs and future requirements. We'll review each case independently and provide guidance on the way forward depending on circumstances.

Site Visits
Please note that we will only make site visits where appropriate and in the best interest and safety of our team and clients, and using the appropriate personal protective equipment. We reserve the right to cancel/postpone a survey should we consider it unsafe to proceed.

If we are due to attend your home and you begin to show symptoms or have recently tested positive for Covid-19, please advise us as soon as posisble in order that we are able to reschedule the appointment for a suitable date. It is important to us that we continue to work safely and keep the members of our community safe.

As our offices have a restricted layout, we kindly ask that you refrain from visiting us at the moment and that you contact us by telephone or email in the first instance.
Please contact us on the main office line 01492 876100 or via email at

We will, of course, continue to review our situation in line with Government and Department of Health guidelines and hope to have our offices open to visiting clients again soon.
